Welcome to Last3 Creative Design! We’re Michael and Heidi Gillespie, the heart and soul behind this family-run business. Our story is one of love, creativity, and a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and community.

​Michael, originally from Manchester, England, served proudly for 20 years in the RAF. It was during his posting to Goose Bay, Labrador, that he met Heidi, a proud Labradorian. We married in 2002 and returned to the UK for Michael to complete his service. In 2013, we made the move back to Canada, settling in beautiful Nova Scotia with our son, Ethan.

​Why “Last3”?
The name Last3 is a tribute to Michael’s service years in the RAF. In the military, service numbers were often shortened to your surname and the last three digits of your number. For Michael, that was “Gillespie 150.” It’s a nod to the precision, teamwork, and camaraderie that shaped Michael’s career and our family’s values.

​The Bee in Our Logo
The bee in our logo is a salute to Michael’s hometown of Manchester. Known as the “Worker Bee City,” Manchester adopted the bee as a symbol of its industrious spirit and its people’s unwavering determination. Bees have been a proud emblem of Manchester since the 19th century, reflecting its role as a hive of industry and innovation.

For us, the bee represents hard work, resilience, and the beauty of working together to create something greater than ourselves—values that inspire everything we do at Last3 Creative Design.

At Last3, we craft unique, artisan charcuterie boards, kitchen, and bar essentials using premium hardwoods and resin. Each piece is designed to bring people together, spark joy, and create lasting memories—whether you’re hosting a celebration or enjoying a quiet family meal.
